DAILY SCHEDULE
Here is a snapshot into your dog's fun-filled day at Lucky Dog Resort! Fun is at the top of our list - but so is safety. This is why we prefer a more controlled environment. Take a look at what a typical day looks like...
RISE AND SHINE!
6:00 am
Big dogs and then small dogs are let outside for a quick potty break while breakfast is being prepared. This is a two-person job. Someone is always watching the dogs while the other person is preparing their meals. Very cute as the dogs finish doing their business and line up at the door waiting to get inside for their food!
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
7:00 am - 9:00 am
Dogs hang out in their kennels during this time, letting their food settle while dogs check in and out. They are all anxious to get out to play - so as soon as the last dog arrives or says good-bye - they are out the door into the cedar-chipped play yard!
MORNING PLAY TIME!
9:00 am
Big dogs and then small dogs are let out to play. Depending on the weather - they are outside between 15 minutes and 1/2 hour each time. Some dogs (elderly or weather intolerant dogs are brought in sooner).
REST AND RELAXATION
10:00 am - Noon
Everyone needs a little down time from the craziness. We provide soothing music and air-conditioning for an early morning nap. The dogs get into the routine pretty quickly and look forward to this.
NOON PLAY TIME!
Noon
The fun begins again! Dogs are let outside to romp and play, splash in the "doggie" pools or just lounge around on the deck. Small dogs are provided with a nice shaded patio. Big dogs get a fun pool to jump into!
NAP TIME
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
After that last round of play - the dogs are ready for a siesta. All dogs get to cozy up in their own kennels - with blankets or bedding (provided by you) - or just a nice cool rubber floor. No barky dogs allowed so your dog will have a relaxing experience.
AFTERNOON PLAY TIME!
3:00 pm
All dogs are excited to meet and greet with their friends again. Play time is closely monitored to make sure all dogs are on their best behavior and having fun! No more than 15 dogs are let out at one time together.
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
This is when dogs say "good-bye" to some old friends and "hello" to some new ones. We have lots of regular clients here at Lucky Dog Resort - so your dog has probably even met some friends from last time they were here!
DINNER TIME
6:00 pm
Dogs are let out again for a bathroom break before dinner is served. Prep time depends on what is involved with each dogs feeding preparations. Dogs with medications are watched closely to make sure they take their proper dosage.
AFTER DINNER SNOOZE
7:00 pm
Dogs are tired and tummy's are full. They've had a busy day running and playing with their friends. They settle in for a relaxing moment of peace. Soft music plays in the background as they think about all the fun they've had.
LAST CHANCE POTTY BREAK
9:00 pm
Most dogs are happily dreaming the night away - but we want to make sure they get one more bathroom break before settling in for the night.
BEDTIME
9:30 pm
Dogs are put away for the night. Everyone is checked on to make sure they have everything they need and are comfortably settled into their kennel. Sweet dreams to all of our furry friends!
