~ Frequently Asked Questions ~
What do I need to do to board my dog at Lucky Dog Resort?
First, read through all of the questions on this page and go to
the Rules page to make sure your dog qualifies. Then call or email
us to check availability of the dates that you are requesting.
Once this has been verified, fill out a Pet Agreement Form and fax it to us
(or attach it to an email). Then fax over your dog's current
vaccination records. You will receive a confirmation email from
us once your dog is booked into our system.
What do I need to bring if my dog boards with you?
We provide bowls, bedding, chew toys and hypo-allergenic treats
for your dog. You may bring your dog's own bed or a blanket
so they feel more at home. If you bring toys for your dog, they
will be placed in his or her own kennel.
How much playtime will my dog get each day?
Your dog will have unlimited playtime, with the exception of a 2
hour nap in the afternoon.
What does "in-home" environment mean?
This business is based completely out of our house - which means
your dog is allowed in our house. This is why we ask that your
dog be on flea medication.
Do you have any breed bans at your facility?
At this time we are unable to accept Pit Bulls, American
Staffordshire Terriers, Rottweilers, Wolf-Hybrids, Perro de
Presa Canarios or Dogo Argentinos.
Why can't I find your address listed on your website?
First, we maintain a secure facility and therefore will only
give our address out to Lucky Dog Resort guests. Secondly, since
this is a home-based environment, we try to avoid disruptions to
our 4-legged friends. If you would like to view our facility,
please call or email to make an appointment.
Is Lucky Dog Resort a licensed facility?
Yes - we are a fully licensed Commercial Kennel. This means we
abide by all the rules and regulations for safety and health
required by Snohomish County. We are proud of the effort we have
put into making this a safe and healthy environment for your
dog. Please take this into consideration when you are boarding
your dog at other facilities. Make sure they are fully licensed!
Is Lucky Dog Resort insured?
Yes - we are fully insured.
